Rose Veal
We use the finest welfare friendly rose veal from local farms like Kimbers Farm at Charlton Musgrove in Somerset, and Fossil Farm at Winfrith Newburgh in Dorset. This is a fine, sweet meat from young male dairy calves that are reared to the highest standard of husbandry (instead of being destroyed within hours of birth as is the usual practice). The silversides are cured and gently smoked to produce something really special. Smoked Rose Veal would be a wonderful addition to a platter of smoked meats and charcuterie like our award winning Smoked Venison, Smoked Beef, Mutton, Duck and Chicken.
