A rare delicacy and something different to celebrate the festive season
Suckling Pigs have, for centuries, been traditional festive fare on the continent. It was not so long ago that this delicious gastronomic centre piece also adorned many tables across the British Isles.
We have produced a very special suckling pig. The whole pig has been very gently cured with a subtle blend of herbs and spices. It has then been hung and lightly smoked over Beech wood to give the most sumptuous aroma and flavour. Finally it has been gently cooked; sous vide with a dash of cider, and will come to you ready to finish by roasting for a short time in the oven. The meat will be meltingly tender, pre-seasoned and full of flavour.
Each pig weighs approximately 7kg and comes pre-packed, ready to roast with full instructions and will feed 10-12 people.
